What pastors are saying:

teaching and singing," "encouraging," "edified our souls and equipped our lives
for kingdom service," "taught us how to claim victory in the trials of life," "brings
God glory" . . .
In 1984 I began giving concerts in churches interlaced with bits of my testimony.
As requests from women's ministry directors grew, my ministry expanded more
into the retreat and conference arenas, and less in church services.
With the release of my long-requested memoir, Soar Unafraid: Learning to Trust
No Matter What, TV and radio programs are broadcasting the news about a life
totally reliant upon the Lord for the power in which to live, let alone write, speak,
and sing after living a life of adventure with multiple sclerosis since 1977!
Now I'm being asked once again to share what God is teaching me, and what He
has done in and through my life in church services. This honor is not taken lightly.
I absolutely love being empowered by the Spirit to share my passion: inspiring
others to know Christ intimately so that they may know Him as Daddy Father,
living in praise, in order to soar unafraid in life.
"Jo's vulnerability is a real gift to the church. Her story is an inspirational tale
of faithful perseverance and growing toward God even in the difficulties and
disappointments of life. She points us toward the grace, redemption, and hope
found in Christ."
Gary Thomas, author of The Beautiful Fight, Sacred Marriage, and Sacred
Influence, (in which Jo and her husband Ray are featured)
"I was blessed to have Jo Franz as a guest speaker at Valley Christian Fellowship on Mother's Day weekend 2010. Jo, and her husband Ray, truly have a heart for ministry and a desire to see others set free through the Gospel message. Jo is a testament of God's love and His grace. She is the person she is today not because of the things she has been through but because of the God who brought her through them. Jo is a talented woman and uses many of those talents in her presentation to capture the attention of her audience and to get her point across. Many in the congregation were touched by Jo's story, her message and her song."
Lance Caddel, Senior Pastor, Valley Christian Fellowship, Longview, WA
"Jo Franz recently addressed a Sunday morning women's class at our church and then spoke at our Sunday morning worship service. Her message--in words and song and modeled in her own astonishing life story--was oh-so timely, brimming with solid instruction, loaded with stirring encouragement, and charged with faith and hope! I'm very grateful for the time we had with her that weekend, and I thank the Lord for her faithfulness, and the vision and scope and impact of her life and ministry."
Spencer Haygood, Pastor for Preaching and Vision
Orange Hill Baptist Church, Austell, Georgia
"We were blessed to have Jo Franz, our sister in Christ, come and speak to our
congregation. The message she brought was permeated with words of
encouragement, stories and songs of hope, and biblical teaching that edified our
souls and equipped our lives for kingdom service! Jo taught us how to claim
victory in the trials of this life through the acronym S.O.A.R.! God is mightily at
work in this precious woman's ministry, and we were the recipients of her
phenomenal teaching and singing!"
Pastor Troy Underwood, D.Min., Truth Community Church, OR
"Thank you so much for blessing our church family. Your words were inspiring
for all. I looked and saw many regulars and newcomers captivated by your
testimony of God's grace through suffering and His power through the weak times
of life. You were so encouraging to all of us that no matter what we face, even
when things don't go our way and don't seem to make sense, you sang "Anyway."
I love that song as a theme for your life and for ours. When we don't feel like
praying, praising, believing, going on, or trusting God anymore--do it anyway.
Thank you also for taking the negative and turning it to the positive and letting
God work through you mightily. I hope you have the chance to travel more and more
and share about His grace towards you and towards everyone. You have a unique
and special gifting and anointing for real people with real problems who need a real
word of encouragement from someone who has been there. Thank you for your
commitment to 'Do it anyway.'"
Dan Larson, Lead Pastor, Family Life Christian Center, WA
May I have the privilege of sharing with your congregation how we can all soar? I'd
be glad to discuss the possibility with you. (Though I don't have video of me
speaking in a service, you can view other clips on either the AUDIO/VIDEO page or
watch a TV interview on the MEDIA page.)
